Noxon’s sludge belt thickener provides optimal and problem-free sludge thickening.  A complete automatic control cabinet manages all equipment regulation/control, allowing the sludge belt thickener to be controlled and monitored via modem.

Simple operation with effective results
Simple operation and problem-free maintenance are key elements of a good working environment. Noxon’s machines are not drawing board products: they have been developed by people with sound experience of dewatering work. That’s why the roller bearings that need to be lubricated are placed on the outside of the machine, and the ventilated hood is spring-suspended to facilitate cleaning and inspection.

Capacity
Noxon’s sludge belt thickener is available in three sizes with capacities from 10 to 100 m3/h.

Dry Matter Content
Noxon’s sludge belt thickener is designed for thickening sludge with a concentration of 0.5-2%. The sludge is thickened to an outgoing dry solid content of 5-8%.

Function
The outgoing dry solid content is regulated by:

  • Belt speed – this is regulated automatically by measuring sludge cake thickness on unloading. Frequency control with alarms for low or high sludge cake.
  • Inclination – regulated by electrically controlled pistons
  • Scraper setting
  • Wire, type, mesh size, structure
  • Polymer additive

Equipment
The belt thickener is supplied with:

  • sludge distributors which automatically lift at regular intervals to keep clean
  • rotary guard on the non-driving roller in the event of stops
  • ventilated gas spring-suspended hood
  • complete automatic control cabinet for regulation and control of the equipment Automatic start and stop of all functions, such as sludge pump, polymer pump, flush water pump, etc.

Communication
The thickener can be controlled and monitored via modem.

Cleaning
The machine is flushed with clean water or waste water. Outlets for flushing water and reject water are separated.
